This week Sue Doughty welcomed a work experience student into the Guildford Liberal Democrat office. Tom Davidson, 15, from Kings College School, spent the week learning more about politics, Lib Dem policies and local campaigns.

When asked about his experience Tom said, "Although I am not planning a career in politics it has been an interesting week. I had a range of tasks to do; my favourite was being a photographer for the day."

Sue said, "It's been an absolute pleasure having Tom here. He's been a very helpful addition to the team and has done some useful work for us. I've been very impressed with his political knowledge; it's refreshing to see and I hope he continues to be politically active. I wish him well for the future."
